Career & Technical Education CTE
CTE Coordinator, Joel Casiday
What is Career & Technical Education (CTE)?
CTE describes classes and coursework that prepares students for work after high school graduation.
Why is CTE important?
Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offer a sequence of courses that provide students with coherent and rigorous content. COCISD aligns CTE courses with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in current or emerging professions. It is imperative for students to design and plan a route that is best for them. Our team of highly qualified staff members are dedicated to helping every student achieve their career goals through guidance and opportunities. Our goal is to ensure each COCISD graduate is a positive, contributing member of our ever-changing world. We are creating opportunities together!
